Where else should I apply for a CS major?

Hello all, first post here. I've applied to several local schools and am wondering what other schools fit the requirements I'm looking for. I'm in Brunswick, Ohio, just south of Cleveland and I've applied to Case Western, Cleveland State, Kent State University and The University of Akron. I'm considering applying to Rensselaer Polytechnic as well as Ohio State.

Intended Major: Computer Science with a minor in Electronics or EE
GPA: 4.16 currently, hope to get it up to 4.2 or so
ACT Composite: 34
Taking AP Chemistry and Calculus AB and Latin II
Scored a Perfect on the National Latin Exam last year in Latin I
Have maintained a 4.0 or higher all 3 years of high school

School attributes I'm looking for:
Location: Not clear across the U.S. but can be out of state
Must have good co-op program (similar to Case's)
Must give decent merit aid (looking to pay less than $10,000 a year out of pocket)
Must have good CS and engineering program/facilities and a technical mindset
Must accept ACT as I have not and will not be able to take the SAT

Any advice would be great. Thanks, Chase

I would suggest Carnegie Mellon (SCS) as a reach. Besides, it’s close to Ohio.

For solid CS and engineering, and a good co-op program, look at Northeastern. It accepts the ACT, and I would be surprised if you didn’t get in. I have no idea how it is with finaid, though.

You would have a GREAT chance at RIT’s merit program with that ACT score

…also Rose-Hulman (no co-op, but H was a CS/EE double major and got great summer jobs through Rose)

Northeastern has an optional co-op: [Experiential Learning > Cooperative Education](http://www.northeastern.edu/experiential/coop/index.html). Drexel in Philadelphia has a mandatory co-op program: [Computer Science](Drexel University < Drexel University Catalog) If a co-op isn’t a must have, Clark has a strong CS program and you may qualify for merit money: [Clark University | Mathematics and Computer Science](http://www.clarku.edu/departments/mathcs/) A solid tech school in the same town as Clark is: [Department of Computer Science - Welcome](http://www.cs.wpi.edu/)
