<p>Why, thank you, kind sir. As you can see, I don't post very often, but D's transition to Chicago has been such a positive one, I just had to comment. I will add one more thing before I disappear into the sunset (i.e., head back to the Parents' forum): We visited close to 20 schools, including ivies and other highly selective LACs, complete with tours and interviews. But when D walked onto the UChi campus, she said, "This is where I want to be." She applied EA, was accepted, and has never looked back. There is something very special about the UChi experience, and I encourage people to go, visit, spend the night in a dorm and see if it's the right fit for you.</p>
