Where has my Admissions package gone?

I applied for RD, was accepted, but haven't yet received the acceptance package.

The online letter says that the decisions were posted on March 31. How did you all get your packages? Fedex? DHL? UPS ... or was it regular mail?

It might seem odd that I am talking of acceptances being sent through regular mail, but since I haven't got any mail yet, that feeling just ocurred to me. A courier should have reached me more than 10 days back, while ... ok, u know ... don't even talk about regular mails reaching me this soon.

I emailed to the admissions office, but didn't got any reply. I am left wondering where my package has gone ...

What do I do now?

I got my package by FedEx, two days after it was sent.

My experience shows that the admissions office may take some time to reply, but don't lose hope -- eventually, they'll get to you!

Not to sound ignorant or anything, but I have an outsider's impression of Nepal being a very remote place. I would expect Kathmandu to be more accessible than the rest of the country, but occasional lost mail or even Fed-Ex doesn't seem shocking. Fed-Ex misplaces a few packages in the suburban U.S.; Nepal probably experiences a greater incidence of that sort of thing.

If you're not getting email response, try calling the admissions office if that's not prohibitively expensive.

Thanks, Tadeusz. I'll try calling Fedex, just in case they couldn't deliver the package to me ...

abcdefghijklm, Nepal is relatively remote ... but not THAT remote as it appears you might be thinking ...

but i am surprised to hear that Fedexes do get lost even in the US ... well then ... chances that my package have been misplaced (rather than not sent :P) seem to have increased ...

my daughter's came fedex and was delivered to the wrong address!

your best bet would be to contact the college . If the packages were sent out fed ex, they would have all of the tracking numbers so they could contact fed ex about getting a concret answer concerning the status of your package.
