<p>@waitingforivy I hear (through the internet) that Skidmore tries to increase yield by not admitting overqualified students, and I guess they wait-listed me so that if I really wanted to go, I could fight for it (which I don’t, so…). And I think Tulane is a lot less likely to admit you if you apply later, and I applied the night before the deadline. I didn’t realize that mattered when I applied. And I also heard that they worry about yield, so maybe my application didn’t make me seem that committed to Tulane (which I’m not). So all in all, it works out for the best!</p>
