MY SCHOOL IS ON A COMPACTED BLOCK SCEADULE SO IN LESS THAN 8 WEEKS WE HAVE COVERED 23 CHAPTERS. I URGE YOU GUYS TO FIND A CLASS THIS FAST. BTW ITS MY MY TEACHER’s OPINION THIS IS TWICE AS FAST AS COLLEGE. I THINK WE WILL MAKE IT BECAUSE WE ALWAYS HAVE CHAPTER TEST EVERY MON, WED, FRI.

LBJ & Great Society

Just finished “The Crisis of Authority” Ch. 32 of 34 in Brinkley’s American History 12 ed.

I took the exam last year and found that not much of the exam covered after WWII, so even if you guys think you’re being rushed at the end up to the time of the exam, almost all of the important stuff is past already.

^Yes, except a couple of the Free Response questions were…

We are starting the Great Depression.

We are on the New Deal, about to start WWII.

We just finished WWII and our teacher expects us to read the Cold War and the next chapter during Spring Break.

^^^^Really? Last year the DBQ was slavery/Civil War, the first FRQ was from the American Revolution, and the second was WWII. I didn’t see any FRQs last year from after WWII, unless you took Form B or something…

We are finished up to the Korean War as of last friday. We are officially done with APUSH and starting review next friday.

^^ Korean War and you guys are done? No Civil Rights, Vietnam, or Watergate Scandal?

We have a test on the New Deal after Spring Break. You guys are so ahead!

We’ve just gotten to the Tet Offensive in Vietnam. Nearly there.

Wow, we just got to the crash in '29 today.

wow you guys are slow, i hope you still have time to review.

My class does it differently. My teacher assigns us readings (1 chapter from the book) every other night. So right now we’re done with the book. But as far as discussion goes we’re at around 1968 right now (Tet Offensive and the Democratic Party riots).

Oops not what I meant. I meant that we are done with everything next friday. We are studying the 1950’s and 1960’s right now.

Currently on WWII right now.

Eisenhower and friends
