Where is link for GPA calculation?

I looked online and can't find a link for how FSU calculates GPA. How do they determine what's an elective? For instance, I assume that Drama would be an elective, but how about Speech?

I am not sure if speech is considered an academic elective or not. My guess would be that they would count it as a language arts elective. You should contact the admissions office and they should be able to answer.

One really good thing about taking high school SPEECH CLASS is FSU lets you satisfy the Oral Competency General Education Requirement if you have a grade of "B" or above in a high school oral communication or speech class.

i think this is what you are looking for

<a href="http://mailer.fsu.edu/%7Ephanowel/gpa/gpacalc.html%5B/url%5D">http://mailer.fsu.edu/~phanowel/gpa/gpacalc.html</a></p>

That link looks to me like it is for calculating college GPA, not high school GPA, but I can't be sure. It refers to "major", so that's what makes me think that.

For HIGH SCHOOL GPA: they weight 1.0 for AP/IB courses and .5 for honors/dual enrollment academic courses. Regular course weight is A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0.

For FSU COLLEGE GPA:
Excellent A 4.00, A– 3.75, Good B+ 3.25, B 3.00, B– 2.75, Average C+ 2.25, C 2.00, C– 1.75, Poor D+ 1.25, D 1.00, D– 0.75, Failure F 0.00 --- Not all professors give plus or minus grades so you have to check the syllabus on each individual course.
