<p>A sublet means that the usual tenants are away for a short time (a few months) but will return. They’re renting out their place for the time being to get some extra cash. So that means you’d get their furnished room(s) for however long the sublet is. Some students choose to sublet their apartment over the summer to summer school kids.</p>
