We need to talk people.

What’s up! International Studies at UCLA isn’t impacted, right? I am missing 2 prereqs and am hoping to change to International Studies once I get there (or well, during orientation).

You got into UCLA? The only stuff I know about or was looking up on was Davis’, Irvine’s, and San Diego’s. Do you know anything about those schools’ program? Where else did you get accepted to?

Yeah, I got into UCLA =) I didn’t apply to David and got rejected from SD… I was looking at Irvine’s program because that’s the other one I’m waiting on. Their program seems super legit, part of the Bachelor’s degree is a quarter/summer of studying abroad… it’s highly recommended but if you can’t do it, you can substitute it with an internship at the UC Washington DC campus (who would’ve thought that the University of California has a campus in DC? LOL), or the social science internship program which they offer. It’s pretty neat, you should check it out:

[B.A. Degree Requirements | UCI International Studies](http://internationalstudies.ss.uci.edu/is_undergrad_major_req)

Yeah I’ve seen all of those. Maybe I should’ve applied to UCLA as well. What are your stats? I got waitlisted to SD. If i got waitlisted and you got rejected I wonder if I had a chance at LA… I’m not sure I would handle the work load.

HERE!!! Well …Development Studies at UCB

There’s not many Intl Studies majors here so ROCK ON BUDDY!

I applied to UCLA Int; Development Studies but got REJECTEDDDDDD ouch.
I also got in UCI/UCD Intl Studies/Relations

@Moquacko - Did you do your research for UCD/UCI? Which one has the better program because I am leaning towards UCI right now. They seem the exact freakin same. Both provide UC-wide Study abroad opportunities, volunteer work, have an international house, etc. It’s just that UCI seems more wide breadth as far as the education goes; having me take JAVA and CALC… I mean seriously? They both even offer honors… I’d like some input on which one between the two you liked? Or even more specifically – which one had the better program and why.

If both schools are the same to you, you should take into consideration the surrounding area. I recommend visiting both campuses, I’ve always heard it helps people choose more than anything else.

I’ve been to both campuses, Davis more than Irvine but I’ve seen aldrich park, been in ME Housing, walked to UTC if that’s what it’s called… I like irvine more, plain and simple.

Then maybe you should go there lol. After all, it’s where you’ll be spending the next 2-3years of your life.
