where on an application does this information go?

almost done with that Cornell app :-P
Questions:

i am in my school's honor society which all students with a certain GPA are automatically in and have printed on their transcript. we dont really have meetings or anything, its just mainly an "honor". Is it worth listing on my application under the activities/club list even though its not really a highly structured thing?

also, if my transcript says "Dean's List" next to all the applicable semesters for which I was on it, then logically, it would make sense not to include it any part on an application, correct?

thanks

i think that goes under:

AWARDS

that's the thing; there is no awards section

Just took a look at the 06 Personal App - 2H. I'd suggest you find a way to mention it in your response to the first and/or second question in the "Academic Interest" section.

You've got to sell yourself. It would look funny to the adcom if they saw these achievements on your transcripts and you didn't mention them on your application.

Everyone has stats similar to yours. You have to differentiate yourself from the pack and show them why they should accept you vs someone else.

Good luck!
