Yes, horrendous it would be.

May first is just insane.

I got no email.... So that's making me nervous.

But May first?????????????????????????????

It says June first on all the literature. It must be a typo.

No email for me yet. :(

I'm on the west coast, maybe it takes a little longer for email to travel? :)

No, I'm applying to Harvard, but I kind of lurk the acceptance threads (color me nosey).

getting it def can't be a bad sign...they prob confused the emails, or something

i highly doubt that me and quantify got rejected (from cornell and columbia respectively and former admits)

JohnM, it's a freshman reminder email. The question is are some people coded admitted and not admitted.

Freshman.... O.k. I breath a sigh of relief. :)

Neverborn, i hope you get in.

I took a stroll through campus today on my way to class. It looks really nice, the flowers are blooming, the trees have leaves, and they're finally patching up the quad with new grass.

JohnM: 3 who got the e-mail and 2 who did not - coincidence?

can someone plzzz call chicago and this situation settled....

idk this kind of thing happens all of the time, last time for the UPenn archives, a few ppl got an email from wharton askin them to remember to send their deposits and this was before they were acceptede

Don't read too much into the freshman email.

Everyone will get some sort of email, so Jerry is just probably pushing the wrong buttons or something. :D

BBall: Were those people in actually?

I am going to class NOW, someone call Admission and ask for Gerald. :(

I have not received this email and have double checked to ensure it was not filtered out. Doesn't look good.

Question to the email people:

Were you ever on a mailing list for Chicago freshman?

I'm 100% sure I was not. I didn't get this email.

i got accepted to chicago as a freshman, thats all i can tell u.....

Temperature Rising....

As did I (accepted as a freshman last yr)

bball87,

but you didn't get the email, correct?

You got accepted for class of '09 and decided not to attend? Chose Cornell instead?

hey guys! I just got the email too- and yes, it's ultra weird cos it's for freshmen- and I'm trying to call the office of admissions and it's perpetually busy- This is so sad- why are they having so much coordination problems this year!

*however, my email address is different from what it was last yr.....

What are the odds for people who get accepted, decide not to go, then decide to transfer?
