Dartmouth is my Number one. I really want to go there. But, I really do not think I could get in. BC, Georgetown, and Cornell are tied for second. I think ED at Cornell could really increase my chances of getting in. Also, If I apply EA I can do it to both BC and Georgetown. I would want to apply ED to Dartmouth but then I could be denied from Dartmouth and Cornell, and I would not be able to apply early to GTown and BC. But, If I apply ED to Cornell I could get in but then I automatically have to go there. I would go to Dartmouth over any of the others but ED at Cornell increases my chances. But, I would not necessarily go to Cornell over the rest. I don't know what to do.

You just answered your own question. Do not apply ED to Cornell, regardless of whether it helps your admissions chances. Do you really want to be on these boards next year asking, as many do, how to break your ED contract?

If you're undecided, apply EA only. If you love Dartmouth, apply there ED and see what happens. But don't apply binding to a school you don't absolutely want to go to above all others.
