but i definitely have strong letters&essays.. but yeah, im looking for advice and opinions - THANKS for reading(:

Ivies are going to be tough  but you have a pretty good chance at everything else. Try to up your ACT and what do you plan to major in? Chance back?

sure! linguistics

Apply ED where you would be happier. ED is binding, so if you get in you are done, you will not be able to apply to any more schools.

ACT should be about 4 points higher. You should definitely retake, if you havent too much already.

i really like penn… im just trying to be realistic though

Why did you make another thread? You really should consider retaking the ACT or the SAT. Otherwise your score is not competitive for Ivies.

ED increases your odds if you are a qualified applicant. If you truly want to go to UPenn go for it, the worst thing they can do is reject you.

Brown’s ED acceptance rate is 22%. Penn’s is 34% (high for a school of that caliber!). So, if you really like Penn, and it doesn’t matter which one you go to or the amount of money that you’ll have to pay, apply ED to Penn. CAREFUL THOUGH! You may not get much money and you could have stuck yourself with a ton of debt. Unless you’re sure you can pay, don’t apply ED. Don’t mortgauge your future. Just my opinion.

@ARisingSenior I think you are mistaken, the Penn ED rate is 25%

I guess the book is off. Still that’s a large difference. Gotta be careful before quoting statistics I guess haha
