where should i apply? (international student)

<p>which colleges should i consider as safety, match, reach
as an international student
(argentina, south america)
sat: 2000
highest grade point average last 3 years
a lot of extracurriculars (debating, orchestra, model un, math olympics.. etc)
neuroscience/psychology</p>

<p>i heard that they give certain "advantage" to international students, for example, they don't give too much importance if the sat score is below the average sat score for that school. is this true?</p>

<p>That is false. In fact, international applicants have much more difficulty gaining admissions to a college in the US because they need much higher stats in order to remain competitive. International applicants often need stronger credential than US applicants.</p>

<p>If financial aid is an issue, this makes it even harder.</p>
