Where should I apply? Looking for merit aid.

I think my stats put me in range for some good schools (to give you a vague idea, 2360 SAT, good academics/ECs/awards). Honestly though, I don't want to burden my parents a lot with the price. Our income is ~120k with lots of savings so we won't get a ton of financial aid from most places. Therefore, I'm really looking for more match schools that offer full tuition scholarships.

I have a few places I'm definitely applying (Vanderbilt, Emory, Duke, URochester, safeties, reaches), but I'm also considering choosing 2-3 of the following schools. I'm wondering which have the most generous merit aid. (I'm OOS for all these schools)

Rice (I know they have scholarships but not many are full, if I'm not mistaken - not engineering major)
USC (I know they have a few big scholarships, but how hard are they to get???)
WUSTL (I was nominated for Danforth, but this is a huge reach. Do they have any scholarships besides Danforth?)
UCLA
UVA (didn't apply Echols or Jefferson)
UNC Chapel Hill
NYU (I read that they're pretty bad with merit aid, but not sure.)
Carnegie Mellon?
Wake Forest?

Also, are there any good LACs that offer scholarships??? Don't know a lot about the LAC system.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome!

USC is probably your best bet here… And NYU is awwwwwfulllllll with aid, so I’d avoid it. By the way, you’d have a full-tuition scolarship (presidential scholarship) to the University of Alabama, but the deadline’s December 1st, so if you want to take that path, I’d hurry. Or if you just want a nice, nearly-free, fall back.

“USC (I know they have a few big scholarships, but how hard are they to get???)”
The USC ALSO require your application to be COMPLETE by Dec 1 in order to be eligible for scholarship consideration, so don’t delay!! And they have MORE than "a few’- they awarded 140+ Full Tuition scholarships last year AND 350 + 1/2 tuition scholarships. but no one gets a chance unless they apply early!
WUSTL offers far fewer scholarships- under 30 [ ?]I thought[?]And you have to apply for them.

I know firsthand that UVA dishes out some decent scholarships.

Make sure you take a look at the individual merit scholarships at Vanderbilt: http://www.vanderbilt.edu/scholarships/

Tulane and Alabama are decent schools that gives out a ton of merit aid too, just FYI. With that SAT score, you’re guaranteed full tuition at Bama.
