Where should I apply to?

My price boundary is 20-25 thousand dollar.
I wanna study communications / international studies (maybe)

Im thinking CSULB, which other colleges can I apply to with a SAT 1750 and GPA 3.8.
Social services, travelled Asia, Leadership skills for basketball, sports and academic awards since grade 9.

You need to do some more research before we can help you. Run the SuperMatch function in the column to the left of this page. Put in all this info you’ve given us and see what pops out. Then create a list from those schools. Then run the net price calculators on the listed schools. This will help you to determine what you can afford and where you can go.

why comm? thats the atletics major at csulb, try international studies and a language.

OP isn’t asking for major suggestions, he just wants a few more schools to apply to. Is California instate for you? If so, I suggest maybe checking out some of the other Cal States. With a price-range of 20-25k, your options are pretty much instate public (there are exceptions, of course) or any private school so long as you get enough FA. But before I can suggest any private schools to you, I need to know what your interests are, more about you, etc.

@minohi No im an international student. Im into sports. Wanted to do film studies but lately have been interested towards communication/ media … international relations all that.Ive studied psych history film environmental studies english and math (obv) and spanish as a second language in high school. But also done extra courses in religious education, physical education and social services. Yes you are right im just looking for a few more schools to apply to and yes if FA is provided then private schools will also be no problem. Please suggest a few state (cause its in my budget) so i have more colleges to apply to. Also im giving my SATs again this december so hopefully it will be better. I was thinking the UCs but too exxpensive!

Also I left Music and IT in grade 10. but got some awards for music.

One option is to find schools that cost less than about $25K for international and out of state (OOS) students. There are a few. Most public unis will charge internationals an OOS rate, and that is usually at least $33K/yr (SUNY schools). Check the thread on inexpensive colleges in the Financial Aid and Scholarship forum of CC. Other than that, there are very few colleges in the US who give aid to international students. With your grades, you will not qualify at most of them. But check them out here:
