Where should I apply to?

GPA: 3.0 (85)

What colleges do I have a good shot of getting into if I want to major in Computer Science?

I feel like more info is needed. Do you know what type of school you prefer? (region, urban, suburban, big, small, public, private etc.) I would be easier to make suggestion if we knew that. Also are you a senior? Or do you have time to raise GPA and take tests again?

One of your biggest issues is what you can afford. So here are some schools that you might get into that have good CS: UMD-Baltimore County, Butler University, and Rochester Inst of Technology.

Go to each school’s Financial Aid webpage and find the net price calculator. Get your parents to help you complete the net price calculator. It will tell your family approximately what your family will have to pay for you to attend that school. Do all the schools or any other school in which you’re interested. Same process.

You’re not going to get a lot of merit aid to go to college, but we need to know how much need-based aid you might get and what your family can afford to provide you. There are hundreds of schools you could attend, but any applicant needs to focus your attention on the ones you can afford.
