Please any more suggestions are welcome.

I think you will get into Purdue (yes - West Lafayette). Check out the Purdue thread - lots of kids get in. (Staying in is a different matter. It's tough!) Their average GPA is 3.4 and here are the SAT scores:
SAT scores (25/75 percentile):
Verbal:
500 – 610
Math:
530 – 650
Combined:
1030 – 1260

Unfortunately, I know nothing about financial aid for international students. So I don't know what you can afford...

But I'd look seriously at RIT too for sure.

My son also applied to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. While not a "famous" engineering department, it should be fairly easy to get into and affordable.

I don't know about the other big state schools. Check out the stats for them on CollegeBoard.com. Michigan State (not Univ. Michigan), Ohio State, U Mass.

Maybe add Drexel, Illinois Institute of Technology, Michigan Tech.

Wright State in Dayton Ohio (good Aero Eng program).

Northeastern University
Rowan University

Thread in the Financial aid section on aid for internationals:

James Madison University Average GPA: 3.67 Average SAT: 1160

Ohio State University Average SAT: 1197

Indiana-Bloomington
Temple University
Arizona
Arizona State
Colorado-Boulder
UBuffalo
Iowa
Iowa State
Ithaca

Indiana doesn't have engineering. Not sure about Ithaca, either. But the rest of jPod's suggestions are great--good colleges that are fairly easy to get into.

thanks alot guys............

Colorado-Boulder has a great Aerospace Engineering department. With Ball Aerospace in town, the Aerospace Engineering department gets involved in some great projects, like a new instrument currently waiting to be installed in the Hubble Telescope, that was designed at CU-Boulder and built by Ball Aerospace in Boulder. Pretty cool stuff!
