I think I’ll be applying to some of the following:
Penn
Michigan
Cornell
Harvard
MIT
Yale
Columbia
Stanford
UF (safety)
Carnegie Mellon
UCal-Berkeley
Caltech
Georgia tech

I still haven’t decided whether I wanna study business or engineering, maybe both. I’d like to apply to schools who are good with both. If you guys could rate my chances (1-10) of getting into each of the aforementioned, that’d be greatly appreciated. Any personal comments are accepted and suggestions of other schools is amazing!

Your stats are good but for the schools that you want to apply, everyone has the same stats. There isn’t really anything about your application that stands out in terms of extracurriculars. You have a lot of good awards but like I said before, everyone at that stage does. I think that your chances are as good as everyone else applying to those schools. I’m not trying to be harsh on you, I just want you to think about possible target schools as well just in case you don’t get into one of your “dream schools.”

I think your list is too reachy. Add in more choices between Ivy level (which are lottery choices) and your safety when you choose a major.

I accept all criticism!! Trust me!
Also, what do you mean by Extracurriculars? Because I’m in 6 honor societies, three interest clubs, two sports, exec officer, founder and president of a club, various leadership programs that really beef up my app, and various honors and awards in competitions.
Lastly, I have UF as a for sure safety, that I’m fairly confident I can get into. The rest of the schools are merely options right now.

Go look under the admitted students section of each school and you’ll see the competition. Maybe a 5-10% chance at some of the schools besides UF. You don’t want to add in other great schools so that you have options?

Yea, I saw!! What other schools should I add to my list that have emphasis on either business or engineering?
