<p>its really a relief that i can get help here…i knew what the us is. i’ve been there quite a few times. but this college stuff was really confusing…so as i said. urban or suburban both will be fine, lots of research and big school…generally the best i can afford(30-40000)…maybe a bit more…or better if they provide need based financial aid. so suggestion list?</p>

<p>I think you might also consider the weather. Going from Pakistan to upstate New York (Cornell for example) might be a bit of a shock.</p>
<p>So, I guess you are looking at large public universities in states with a low cost of living. </p>

<p>OK. There are a lot of choices for schools based what you say. You can also look at UCLA, in addition to what ricegal suggests. Not so sure about UVA on her list, it doesn’t fit as well IMO.</p>

<p>There are only a few (maybe 5-10) schools that will give aid to Internationals. There is a list somewhere on CC, but I don’t know where that lists them. If you don’t choose one of those schools, your going to be paying the full boat at every other school. And they are all about 50k, just like UCLA.</p>

<p>It’s possible for a school to be need-aware for internationals for admissions purposes, but still give some aid to top international recruits. So that list is not a complete list of schools that could potentially offer aid to a very desirable student like the OP.</p>

<p>Need aware would be fine too because this is all my PERSONAL ALLOWANCE SAVINGS…so, i need aid because my family income is like….1000$(listed) because he’s a governmental employee cum businessman his 1st job pays $1000 and his business was estimated at only $200 because of some(lucky) clerk error…EVEN THOUGH ITS ACTUAL WORTH IS LIKE….100’000$ (I LOVE YOU GOVT.
