I'm a Senior, and I have applied to my local community college (Honors Program for a full scholarship), Fordham, and Washington College. I didn't do so well on the SATs (see below), but I plan on taking the ACTs and actually studying beforehand (I've already studied a bit). I would say I'm smart, at least compared to most people in my school, but compared to the people on this site who take all-AP classes, I guess I'm dumb. But I digress. Here are my marks:

Junior year:
-Honors English: 94
-AP U.S. History: 87 *did not take AP exam
-AP Calculus AB: 85 *failed AP exam
-Honors Physics: 88
-Spanish III: 86

Senior year (current):
-AP English Literature
-AP Calculus BC
-Dual Credit World Civilizations I (comm. college)
-Dual Credit World Civilizations II (comm. college)
-Economics
-Honors Chemistry

Cumulative GPA: 95.977 (3.8? Not sure.)
Rank: 46 of 556 (Top 10%) (Sidenote: last year I was in top 5%. Big fall!)

Highest combined SAT scores:
-640 Reading
-680 Math
-690 Writing (was pleasantly surprised actually, after a 580)

And then I'm taking the ACT on October 22nd, 2010. Depending on whether a get a job or not, I might take more AP exams (my parents have no money for my education). The full scholarship at community college is my safety, basically. In a previous post I explained how Junior year I got kind of depressed and anxious, but I guess that's no excuse.

So...

What colleges should I apply to that will give me the highest chance of getting a full/near-full scholarship, (1) if I don't do well on the ACTs (2) if I do do well on the ACTs (I'm talking 33 and up). Do I even stand a chance at places like University of Chicago, Reed College, etc? (I'm not applying to Ivy.)

And any advice for the ACT? I got the Princeton Review Book.
