Where should I apply solely base on my GPA (4.0 UW 4.06 W), ACT (32 composite 35 e 34 r 31 m 27 s [planning to retake]), and my interest in major (actuarial science).

I do have a few schools in mind that I want to apply to for sure, but I'm sure I have overlooked some very good ones.

Any suggestions appreciated, and ask for more information if necessary!

I know Iowa has a solid program and Wisconsin does as well. But for me (and I’m obviously biased) Michigan has got to be your top choice.

Michigan is my top choice, but I’m one to need to know all of my options therein lies the reason for posting this xD

Thanks and GO BLUE!

The college search function on CC ([College Search - College Confidential](http://www.collegeconfidential.com/college_search/)) works amazingly well. I just gave it your scores and intended major, and got quite an extensive list of schools. I would start there if I were you.

You also should be thinking about financial options. Are you in-state for Michigan? What tuition can your parents afford? Do you expect to get financial aid?

Thanks much, I will try that.

I am in state for Michigan and they have been very clear about what we can afford, but I am willing to take out student loans if the school is perfect. I probably won’t receive much aid from a public school but for a private college our income would mean a substantial aid package.
