Hello I’m an incoming senior and I’m kinda lost on where to apply. My stats are kinda low but I have a huge upward trend. I’m in state

GPA: 3.3/3.6
CSU/UC GPA: 3.7
SAT: 1910
ACT: 30 ( retaking, scoring around 33 on practice )
I’m Hispanic, first generation and low income.
Activities: ASB 2 years, Class Vice President. CSF life member. Stage Manager.
AP’s : AP Environmental (4) AP English (3)
Senior Year: AP Biology and AP Statistics.

I’m open to all schools in California

Intended major?? I would look at your local in-service Cal State as your Safety. You have competitive STATs for UCR/UCM/UCSC/SDSU/CSULB/CSUF. For privates, I would consider Occidental, Chapman, Pepperdine, Whittier College and Santa Clara. You may find that the privates may give you more FA than the publics.

Try UCR, UCM, USD, Northridge, Fullerton, (SDSU and Long Beach are impacted, and your stats aren’t competitive for those two schools), Chapman, Scripps Colleges.
In California, being Hispanic is common, so that won’t really help with admittance.
Agree with Gumbymom, stick to the privates for more available monies.
