Where should I apply?

currently a junior, my gpa is 3.81 unweighted and 4.75 weighted, upward trend

since freshman year, ive taken all honors and AP bio, comp sci, lang, and us history, and have gotten As in every class except for a B+ in freshman honors geometry

i took the SATs once and got a 2230 (750 reading, 770 math, 710 writing)

i am secretary of student council, founder and president of our school’s creative writing club, writer and editor for the world news section of the student newspaper, and a varsity athlete. i also participate in biology II league (NJ) and national honors society. i won recognition on School Newspapers Online (SNO) for an article i wrote for international women’s day, silver cum laude on the national latin I exam, and 2nd place on vault at novice gymnastics conferences. freshman and sophomore year i participated in club gymnastics (15 hours a week)

over the summer, i interned for a nonprofit, Asian Women in Business (~120 hours)

i live in nj, asian female. im undecided about what i want to study… either biology, journalism, or something related to gov/politics/history/IR

i could use some help deciding which schools to look at/apply to. so far the only school i am sure about applying to is georgetown.

also, i am planning to take the ACTs and subject tests this june. should i also take the new SATs?

1 question. How much can you and your family afford to pay each year for college? Are you in need of financial and/or merit aid? Any geographic restrictions? Public/Privare? Large /Small school? Urband/Suburban/Rural?

will be applying for federal aid. cost isnt an issue since im considering ROTC.

id prefer an urban school, though the quality of education is still the number one factor (ie i’d choose cornell over NYU)

also, i dont want to go to a school where the social environment depends on greek life… i dont want to be forced to join a sorority in order to have more than 2 friends
