Do you want a small school, large school, rural, suburban, urban, how far from home? Do you want to continue with music in some way while at college? Or riding? There are many questions left unanswered, making it difficult to help you. There is more to college than just your major.

@amtc I would like a large school, and one with a major sports team would be nice. I want to stay in the southeast/mid Atlantic states, I prefer not going any farther north than Virginia and not more west than Alabama. For music, I would PErsue it if I got a scholarship, but if not I would drop it. Riding in college is very important to me, but I don’t need a D1 school, I’d be fine aslong as there is atleast a club team. I am trying to get the most money possible since I have a very small amount of financial aid available. The EFC FAFSA gave me was about $27k/ year but my family will most likely only contribute about $5k/year. A main priority is graduating with the least amount of debt possible, but I want to love the school I am going to. I don’t have a preference on where the wchool is but I don’t want a small canpus

If you want a safety school Stony Brook.

Given your financial criteria you should definitely include the SUNY schools and, depending on where in NY you live, the CUNY schools (which might make riding a bit difficult). Other than that, given you geographical desires, I cannot help you but with this more complete information hopefully others can. Good luck!
