I'm looking to major in journalism//sports marketing/management.

Got any colleges in mind? Kinda hard to do this otherwise...

But your major is interesting, as are your ECs; they set you apart, so you'll have a slightly better chance than most anywhere. SAT and GPA not the best, so you'll need that extra something.

For journalism, the first school that comes to mind is Newhouse at Syracuse. Syracuse also has a good business school.

Other schools noted for journalism and/or communications you might want to check out:

NYU, Ithaca, Penn State, Boston University, University of North Carolina, University of Missouri-Columbia, Northwestern University, University of Texas-Austin, and Emerson.

NYU, U of NC, UT-Austin, Penn State, and BU also have good B schools.
