What are my chances at Columbia/Penn, and which one should I apply ED to?

ok numbers. bad ECs. given that you apply ED to columbia or penn (btw, the two are similar in selectivity so if columbia is your first choice then apply ED to columbia), you should have a 50% shot

Bear in mind that a) Columbia's application has a lot of writing on it and b) You're not just asian, you're from NY, which puts you in an incredibly selective pool.

hey firefox, whats wrong with my ec's (btw I forgot to mention that i am also a longtime volunteer at a local nursing home)

well, maybe "bad" is a bit too harsh. but still, i don't see enough commitment/leadership
