Hey everyone... well, the time has come for me to decide where to apply (early and regular) and I was wondering if y'all could lend me some of your insight. I'll post my stats, and if you would...will you tell me which (if any) combined programs I'd have a shot at.

SAT I: 2210 (800W, 730CR, 680M)...I may retake in Nov, should I?
Rank: 1/453
GPA: 4.0 uw

SAT II:
USH: 720 (retaking in oct)
Math IIC: taking in oct
Bio: taking in oct

APs:
I had 4 APs in Junior year (Bio, USH, Eng, Spanish)... but I'll find out my scores on the 15th
I will be taking 3 additional APs in Senior Year

ECs:
1) Class President (12)
2) Class Secretary (10,11)
3) Editor and Columnist for School Paper (11, 12)... I was writer during 10th
4) Speech Chair (11, 12)... awards: 1st at SCU Invitational (10), 5th at Stanford Invitational (11), 12th at State Championship (10, 11)

Volunteer/Internships:
1) Volunteer at hospital (9,10)
2) Working with a doctor for 2 weeks (this summer... sometime in August)

I definitely know my scores aren't high enough to get me into any high-ranking program... but I'm satisfied with the less prestigious ones. Just ANY combined program. From what I've heard... Drexel is supposed to be "easier" to get into... would I have a shot there? Anywhere else? Be honest. Kill me. I can take it. lol.

Thanks everyone. =)

Apply to them all.
Id guess that adcoms will break down your sat scores by the same way they did last yr: Math + CR = SAT I and Writing = writing. With that assumption, you have a 1410 sat I and 800 writing. Not bad. Retake wouldn't be a bad option, assuming it would be just your 2nd or 3rd time. You did well on writing, so you can probably get 750+.
You should take the II in chemistry along with Bio. Progs like Northwestern's HPME require it.
You will probably make it to solid ugrad schools --> in that case you should go there. Why would you want to go to "ANY combined program" when you could make it to better med schools after ugrad?
Personally, I decided to go to NW's HPME over Stanford and some other top 5 schools (Stanford was the only one I really considered going to over HPME). But, if I didnt have HPME or say USC's bac/md or Rice/Baylor I would have probably just gone to a solid ugrad school.
Hope that kind of helps,
Good luck.

Hey Brownjigga,

Can u post your stats and what year u applied?

search through the boards. Ive posted them before.
In short:

brownjigga, what is usc's bac/md program. Is it another 7 year med program?

its actually 8 years.. at usc.. and ya, from what ive heard, this is also a very prestigious program..
