where should i apply?

<p>Hi i was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions of schools i should apply to that I may be able to get into (like some safeties, fit schools, and reaches).</p>

<p>I’m interested in education, nursing, pre-med but am not sure so even schools without programs/ small programs in these are fine</p>

<p>I’d like to stay on the east coast, I wouldn’t go any further than PA
My stats:</p>

<p>I go to one of the top private schools in the country (ranked in the top 10 right after Choate, Andover, Phillips Exeter)
My school apparently has good relationships with many top colleges</p>

<p>My stats:</p>

<p>SATS: 2010 (took one more time waiting for scores)
ACTS: 31 ( took again waiting for scores)
SAT2s: Math: 730 Spanish: 690 US history: 680
School does not rank
GPA: UW 3.5 (apparently at my school a 3.1 is equal to a 3.9 at other schools)

essays: pretty good I think, idk, one is written about my mom’s passing during high school and how my role has changed, how I take care of my young sisters,
teacher recs: fine - I don’t think they will be bad, I’m not sure if they are awesome, one of them is probably very good the other one is probably just fine</p>

<p>You have access to an excellent counselor staff. You should sit down with one of them immediately. They’ll be able to introduce a lot to you and answer many more questions that making posts on CC. And look at the Calendar: deadlines are fast arriving. Good luck to you.</p>
