Where should I apply?

Hi guys, this is my first post on the forums and I'm looking for some advice.

I'm a senior in High School and it's time for me to apply to colleges. I'd like some advice on where I should apply.

My desired major is currently Accounting but that may change in the future. It will definitely be in the Business field.

GPA: 3.3
SAT: 1740 (Reading-600 Math-560 Writing 580)

I live in New Jersey and would prefer to stay in the northeast but am willing to apply to any college that applies to me. Right now I know I'm going to apply to Rutgers and Baruch.

Rutgers is basically my main choice right now since it's in state and would be more affordable but I want to be prepared in case I don't get in, since I've heard that their Business school isn't easy to get into.

Price of tuition is also a factor for me. Something around the price of Rutgers or maybe a bit more would be fine.

So basically guys, what are some good schools that I can apply to for Business (thinking about Accounting right now) and would have a good acceptance chance?

Looking forward to hearing from you and if you need more information let me know.

Thanks.

Anyone? Bump

How about Boston University. I know you want to stay close but The University of Texas–Austin has the best accounting program. They were rated number one by US News.

I would consider Rowan and Montclair State to be the next tier of public schools in NJ, after TCNJ and Rutgers. They both offer business, and your stats should get you into them. The other Rutgers campuses, in Camden and Newark are also less selective than the main New Brunswick campuses.
