Where should I be finding these essays?!

<p>Alot of my friends and I have started applying to various colleges (duh) and they all seem to have alot of essays and supplements that they are already getting a start on. For example, for NYU a few of them began writing an essay about how they would spend a day with a New Yorker. Well my question is where do you think they are finding all of these essays? I've navigated through tons of colleges' websites but have been unable to locate any of their essays. Are they all just on the common app website (from when you pick colleges)?</p>

Georgetown
Boston College
Dartmouth
Cornell
NYU
Columbia
Princeton
Northwestern</p>
