I really am having a tough time deciding - should I go to Boston College or Trinity College (Connecticut)? I think BC has some more prestige/name recognition, but I got a somewhat better feeling from Trinity. Also, the whole Jesuit think at BC was a little intimidating. BC has boston, while Trinity only has Hartford...what do you guys think?

You're right, that IS a tough choice. If you're seriously considering grad school after undergrad, then I think BC would be better. But Trinity probably offers a more intimate educational experience and you'll get to know everyone.
PS- Boston is right next door to CT!

I do want to go to Grad school, and I thought that BC would be the place to go, BUT surprisingly, it didn't make it to the Wall Street Journal's top 50 grad school fedder school list while Trinity did.

Yes, Trinity is known as a very good feeder to the top graduate schools. A lot of grads have gone on to some of the best law, medical, and engineering schools.

BC without question. As a plus you have Boston and BC is a great feeder school despite the rankings.

Trinity's a better school all around. (but then, I'm partial...)

BC is much better socially, academically and athletically. This is because at BC you have Boston, a high level of prestige and Division I athletics.

At Trininty you have a smaller school and the city of Hartford :(, very heavily focused liberal arts without much other breadth of curriculum and Division III athletics.

That's a tough call. A Jesuit education is one of the best you can receive and its very hard to pass up, but i hated BC's campus and could never live off campus my freshman year. if they had 4000 less students then it would be the perfect school. i say trinity

kgordon - just want you to be aware of the mindset of the messenger. Cheak out other threads by our friend, ol' Dunkaroo, who definately seems to have a little problem with Trinity (though he professes to be an expert on the school.) I go here and hence, speak first hand. Then again, maybe he's at BC and hence, has a clear vision of that which he speaks... but I doubt it.
