<p>I would say rjkofnovi’s perspective on Michigan compared to Northeastern is a little off. In terms of selectivity of student Northeastern average SAT score, average ACT score, and percentage accepted are all better than Michigans. One of Michigans greatest strengths are the strong research programs. I would make the argument that Northeastern’s is not that far behind especially when you take into account all of the research opportunities at all the Boston hospitals and well as at all the research labs/companies throughout the city. When choosing a co-op almost all of these hire NU students.</p>

<p>^They are basically in the same range test score wise. I would go to the cheaper one or the better fit but would lean towards UMich since it has a top 15 medical school that you will have an upper hand at.</p>
<p>Those numbers are outdated. Michigan having a med school is a substantial and important factor, but my point was that so is being in Boston versus Ann Arbor. </p>
