Where else should I look into? My list is focused on the west coast right now, but I have no problem with expanding my horizons. I'm interested in biology. I'm looking for a good school as far as job recruitment when I graduate but also good preparating for med school in case I wish to attend. TIA!

For science, you want Berkeley, Stanford, Cornell, Harvard, Princeton...these are the top names for science-oriented schools (that are also good at arts). MIT/CIT are specialized techie schools, so you may like those as well.

Not to say the other Ivies or UCs aren't good at sciences...but the names that come to mind immediately are the ones above.

Nothing could be more perfect for you than Stanford. It's sciences are just as good as MIT's, it's liberal arts is just as good as Yale's, and it's just as prestigious as Harvard.

I heard that Physics was top-notch at Princeton, but for Biology, it was even with Yale. Anybody know?

Thanks for your recommendations, everyone. I'm also interested in applying to a few LACs with good biology departments, so if anybody has schools that come to mind, please don't hesistate to recommend them. Thanks!
