<p>Hi, i m a rising senior in Washington state..and</p>

<p>Here is my stats</p>

<p>SAT 1st trial : 1900 (will retake either on Oct. or Nov. looking for 2100+)
SAT2: I took Korean and got 800. will take Biology and Math2c looking for 700+ each
GPA: 3.9 (have taken the toughest courses in school (IBs) etc)..</p>

<p>and i have decent ECs including 2 leadership positions, 100hours community service, marching band, jazz band, special talents..magic tricks and so on</p>

<p>All the colleges i wanted to go became reaches after i took my SAT and bombed it. I know it's stupid excuse but i was in lovesick..whatever</p>

<p>anyhow i want to major in either Biology or Pre-mad.
what school should i go?</p>

<p>and last question, as you might guess from my SAT2 score, i came US about 1.5 years ago from Korea(though i m not a international student)..and i did my best to maintain my grades and stuff without parents(I have guardians but they don't give a damn)
would that be my hook?</p>

<p>any advice will be appriciated. thank you</p>

(2) region or state?
(3) type of school? large/small, urban/rural, conservative/liberal?</p>

<p>There are too many schools out there to narrow down...</p>

->let's just say money is not worry right now..for the sake of the question. </p>

->I either want to go to eastern america(new york, boston, etc.)...or california</p>

<p>(3) type of school? large/small, urban/rural, conservative/liberal?
-> First I want to go to large univeristies..
and urban or rural doesn't matter. but if i had to choose one of them, i would go to urban school...conservative/liberal also doesn't matter..but i prefer conservative to liberal..</p>

<p>The top UCs are tough with your SAT but try several of them.</p>
