Hi.
I'm a Junior in high school, so I have a little bit of time before I have to make any huge decisions. But, I'm interested in getting some opinions on where I should think about applying next fall.
I would like to double major in Economics and Political Science (ideally, I think it'd be really cool to get a masters degree or even a doctorate degree in either Economics or Political Science, depending on which I enjoy more in undergrad or maybe I'll get a law degree... who knows). I'm also contemplating International Relations.
I like the idea of studying at an international university (ENGLISH SPEAKING THOUGHH), but wouldn't be completely opposed to a private university in the U.S. I also prefer big cities.
As far as difficulty of admission - I am planning on applying to colleges that range from 3%-50% and seeing what happens.
Sooo, what do you think?
Thank you and have a lovely day. (-:

Many schools could satisfy your criteria.
Selective urban schools in the US with strong economics, political science, or IR include (in rough order of selectivity):
Harvard
Yale
Columbia
Chicago
WUSTL
Georgetown (School of Foreign Service for IR)
JHU
NYU
Berkeley
UCLA
George Washington
American University

What are your test scores and GPA?

What state are you in?

How much will your parents pay each year? IF you don’t know, ask them.

Your stats and the amount that your parents will pay will largely determine where you should apply.
