Where should I go to college?

I want to pursue chemical or aeronautical engineering. I have a 3.8 or so gpa, a 1960 on the SAT, but I am planning to retake it because my writing score was very low. I am third or fourth in my class, and I took two ap exams and scored 3,4, or 5 on them (I'm relatively sure I passed). I am in jazz band, select band, marching band, and pep band, I play alto, tenor and baritone sax. I am in science club and NHS and won a book award in English. I love to write and hopefully will publish my novel soon.

Are you interested in being in the band in college? That could be a big help for admission. I have a student whose SAT is a little lower than the mid-50, but she is an outstanding sax player -- baritone and alto. She also plays the clarinet. Her first choice is VA Tech, which has an excellent engineering program. She is not interested in engineering but thought I should share the information with you.

you could go to Rochester, they have a good music program

I would love to keep doing band, but a good engineering school is my first priority. The only school I have so far is purdue
