Where should I go? UCSC, CSULB, Cal Poly Pomona or wait?

Female, born outside of US, US citizen now.
Asian (Pakistani)
Californian (Bay)
Cumulative GPA: 3.59 uw/3.72 w, 3.66 CSU gpa
SAT: 1930/ 1950 ss (cr670/m660/w600)

= I’d actually go here maybe
*
= a top choice

= accepted

anything else = still waiting

Schools/Majors:

UCSB: Global Studies*
-My stats are obviously low
UCSC: Global Econ*
-low low low. I would switch to the Art and Design game major.
UCB: (just to satisfy my parents) South Asian Studies
UCR: Global Studies
UCD: Design/Textiles**
-If I got in here I wouldn’t even consider other schools like at all
UCI: International Relations*
-My stats are low

CSULB: International Studies*

Cal Poly Pomona: Apparel Merch**

Cal Poly SLO: Graphic Communications**
-I have likely been rejected

Mills: International relations

Simmons: International Relations/Web Design

I’ve whittled my list down to a short list of schools I can actually get into/or already have. I’m having a hard time deciding, so I need outside opinions.

UCSC or CPP? Or maybe even Long Beach?

Or, wild card, do you think I have a decent shot at Davis, SB, or Irvine?

Factors I have considered:

UCSC is better ranked, has better dorms and food, is a more “recognizable” school, students seem happy here, lovely area, better graduation rate and financial aid, smaller school-- I don’t like the weed problem at this school though I honestly won’t care too much as long as it’s out of my sight.

CPP is cheaper, close to LA, all around great from my research, AMM program is pretty much exactly what I want to do, close to jobs and internships, “learn by doing”, 4 year pledge

Help me out here! I have no time to visit until well after committing (within March!) so I won’t be able to judge for myself.
Factors to consider:

–Social/political environment
–Instances of discrimination on campus
–Graduation rate: terrible at CPP, bad at SC
–Location
–Nearby jobs?
–Food and housing (I will be living there!)
–Is it a reasonably walkable campus? I can’t bike for the life of me.
–Diversity. I’d prefer a minority-majority campus which both schools seem to offer. As Muslim Woman of Color this is pretty important lol, though I doubt either schools are particularly racist (especially SC lol…)
–Drug culture. It’s a personal choice but I don’t want it up in my face.

If you are a current student at either of these schools, please message me, I’d love to talk to you!

UCD is pretty unlikely due to your CSU GPA.

.

I am not a current student at either school but, from your comments alone, it looks like CPP is a better fit.

I’m actually currently attending CPP and I’ve actually heard that our AMM program is one of the best ones.
