I am transfering for the fall 2006. I am getting around 3.3 now. I have applied to about 9 schools and they include safeties and reaches. I think I will get some grants to help me paying tuition and stuffs, so the money doesn't concern me too much. But I want to know which schools are better than the other for Economics department as far as its reputation and academic and teaching quality concerns. I have applied to,
University of Wisconsin-madison
Ohio state university-columbus (accepted)
Boston University
George washington University
University of California-irvine

dump...................

interesting set of choices, i go to irvine and am planning to do econ but id go with wisconsin with those choices if you can take the cold...ohio state is chill as well...if ur thinking about a masters i think ohio state and wisconsin have the best business schools (mba) of those mentioned with uci not far behind, problem with uci is that there is some competition from the ucla and usc business schools that are not far behind...overall go with wisconsin or watever is the cheapest for you

GWU is a good school..and nice place..but money talks!!

bumppppppppppppp
