@wilma77 what is your home state? Low income or middle income parents? Do you mind schools with religious affiliations? Prefer big campus or small? Want to be close to a big city or does a little college town sound fun? Tell us a little more about want you want out of your ccllege experience.
@CopperlineX2
Home State: NJ
Income: used to be middle income but my mom lost her job
I don’t mind schools with religious affiliations
I’d like any size school as long as it’s not tooo big.
I would like to be in the Northern East Coast
Don’t go private. Limit debt. Rutgers is BIG. U Delaware is big. Your biggest mistake right now are your areas of interest. You need to pick a major where there are jobs. Your math SAT may be enough to get you into Rowan in one of the engineering fields as women are in big demand for engineering. Majoring in journalism is a waste of time—— a dying field. Education/teaching at the elementary and high school level will soon be impacted even more by video and online classes with less teachers hired. Sorry to be a downer but my suggestion to you is to consider nursing, physical therapy, physician assistant, or engineering or other area of tech.
My suggestions for schools: TCNJ, Rowan, Ramapo, Stockton . NJIT and Rutgers if you can handle the lousy Newark campus. Rutgers NB if you can handle the huge campus. Also, SUNY New Paltz or SUNY polytechnic which have out of State tuition room and board comparable to instate night schools.
