I am trying to decide between the Leeds School of business at CU Boulder and the Daniels School of business at University of Denver. I got into the accounting program at both. I am out of state for CU boulder so tuition+room and board ia about 40k. Denver gave me $15000 a year to atten which makes it cheaper than boulder. I like both schools a lot but I think I like boulder a little better but I have trouble backing away from the 15k. Any reccommendations are greatly appreciated.

yes this is a very hard decision. noone is gonna be able to tell you what to do, it depends on whether money or preference is your priority. i personally would go to denver cuz im a tightwad, but if you think you will be that much happier at boulder i would go there instead. im not sure if you're trying to stay in colorado or what, but dont hesitate to look at other schools because there are a lot of great school within a state or two of colorado that would offer you a similar education at a much better price.

I'm from Massachusetts and I definitely want to go to school at one of those two for various reasons. I just wanted some more imput. It seems like Denver is up and coming and has lots of money but I'm not sure if they are as well known in the business world as cu boulder. Any morer input?

denver was ranked 48th last year so i dont know how its not ranked at all anymore. I try not to go by the rankings. I don't understand how a school can be in the top 50 and the next year not even be ranked.

Son is in Daniels at DEnver and loves it. The school has amazing facilities and access to all sorts of great internships. Faculty is very accessible to students and so far he has been impressed with the quality of the teaching. He liked Boulder too but preferred being in a great city.

I loved the atmosphere at Boulder with the football and being right at the foothills of the mountains but don't like the huge lecture hall classes with 300+ students. Do you think Denver has just as strong a reputation as boulder in the business world?
