Where should I go??

I need help deciding if i should go to UMich, UWisc or USC. I've never visited any of these campuses so I really don't know which one is a better 'fit' for me. I am planning to major in biology and maybe premed. I'm also an international student. i appreciate any sort of comment about these schools thanks.

All three are good, but in terms of academics, I would say Michigan is the best, followed by Wisconsin and then USC.

All three have nice campuses, but I think Michigan and Wisconsin are more idealy located within their environment.

In terms of weather, unless you like cold weather, USC has the clear edge.

Michigan is the only one of those three schools that has a top ranked hospital and Medical School, but all three offer undergrads ample research opportunties.

Wisconsin is the strongest in Biology, followed by Michigan. USC is not that good in Biology.

Based purely on what you ask, I would say Michigan should be your first choice, closely followed by Wisconsin and USC would be third. However, all three are good schools, so you cannot go wrong.

Wisconsin is better in biology but how much 'better'? Is there much difference?

I would say Wisconsin is only slightly better than Michigan in Biology. Wisconsin is probably top 10 and Michigan is top 15. The difference is not that great, but it is there.

I would think USC would be better than Wisconsin.

You would be wrong. Wisconsin has been a top university for 100 years. USC is just moving into that level but has many holes to fill. It can't match the bio facilities at UW and the level of research being done. Virtually every sub area of bio at UW has a new building of its own. They plan to add another mega research facility in the next few years.
