where should I go?

Hey
First off I want to thank everyone on this forum for helping me throughout the college application process. I really appreciate the advice that has been given to me so far.

I am planning on being a biological science major or some other premed major in hopes of attending medical school. I would like to receive your advice on where I should go to pursue this.

I have been admitted to the following schools:
UCSD, UCLA, Berkeley, UCIrvine, USC, Johns Hopkins, Duke, and NYU.
Out of the whole group NYU has offered me the most money with a 25,000 scholarship, which covers most of tuition.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jose

As far as biological and medical things are concerned, I'm not really informed, but I do know that nearly all, if not all of those schools are fabulous for what you're going after... with those types of schools, I think it's not less about the academics and more about location (perhaps cost), and your personal affinity for the campuses (if you've visited most or all of them). Anyway congradulations on getting into all of those schools, you have some great options, so good luck with making your decision (I really wish I could have been more helpful).

congrats... of the schools you got admitted to i only know about the UC's... ucla and ucsd are better for biomed stuff

johns hopkins is the best for your major out of all those schools

For the best all around experience, great pre med, great scocial life and highly regarded, Duke hands down. One thing I always encourage Cali kids to do is when comparing costs take a hard look at the loans UC makes many take. There are often grants you get only for freshman year and many end up owing tens of thousands for UCs. Also count on 5 years instead of 4 for most.
