Where should i go???

I have no idea where to go! I am going to be majoring in biology/ biological sciences and may end up going pre-med.
I am looking for not only the best program, but the best overall college to go to. Here are my choices:

PENN STATE - University Park

UCONN - Storrs

UMASS

UDEL

SUNY BINGHAMTON

If you have any thoughts or advice about this please let me know!

P.S. Please explain everything!!!

Five state flagship universities all located in the northeast. Pick the one that appeals to you most.

Visit as many as you can; talk to current students and alumni; etc… All things being equal, I would prefer the “smaller” sized school ( i.e. UDel ) vs. the mega school like Penn State. But it is all subjective. Good luck.

You might want to consider what type of area you wish to live in for the next four years. UDel is located in a nice college town, with a main street, and it is close to Philly, with train service to NY, DC, etc. Would you prefer that to a more rural area like Penn State? Only you can answer that, and I wish you the best in making your decision. If you truly can’t decide, choose the one that is cheapest. Save your money for med school!

what state are you from?

i am from northern new jersey

That doesn’t help you tuition wise at any of them. Visit the schools wait for the offers I bet the decision will be easy for you when the time comes. Best of luck and please let us know when you decide.

I think you’ll find negative comments about any school. I don’t have time to reconstitute your URL, what exactly does it say that you don’t like?

^^ Well the second comment says:
“best four years of my life. wish i could re do them. i’ve never met an unhappy UD grad”

But really, you should be doing your own research … on campus.

So I read a few of the negative comments. I’m sure you’ll find similar comments for the other schools. There are always going to be people who are unhappy. Don’t like the Newark downtown? Go see what it’s like in Binghamton (or Storrs).

Umass-can attend Amherst, Smith, Wellsley, etc for some classes, and lots of research opportunities…
