OK, This is going to sound a little ridiculous, but here goes:

College Admissions is pretty much over for me and it worked out like this: I got into Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse (L.C. Smith for Computer Science), and University of Cincinnati (DAAP, Industrial Design). I was also waitlisted from Northeastern and I haven't heard from UMass Amherst, but I don't really care about those two. I'm not going to mention the schools I didn't get into... it's too painful (kidding).

So, I'm wondering where I should go. RPI is obviously the best school, but Cincinnati's design school is highly ranked.

I really wanted to go to CMU's School of Design for Industrial Design. I knew I probably wouldn't get in, my GPA isn't as high as I would like it be and I didn't really have a portfolio that I was happy with, so I figured that if I really wanted to go I'd have to transfer.

Anyway, right now I'm leaning towards RPI. I'd probably give it a year or so and see where I'm at. I might love it and not want to transfer (thought I don't really like the area). I'm just wondering if anyone has comments on the other schools or anything against RPI.
