(Where) should I include my GRE scores on my resume?

Hi.
I’m planning on applying to a few electrical engineering graduate programs. I’m going to contact potential supervisors before submitting my applications and include my resume. My GPA is average at best. (mid-class standing in a top university in my country) So, I thought maybe I could make up for it with my GRE score. I scored 170/Q and 158/V. I know 158 doesn’t sound good, but comparing to my fellow Iranians, it is.
So, my question is should I include it? If so, where? Next to my GPA? Should I make a “test scores” section for GRE and TOEFL?

Yes, you can do that but realize that many faculty members get a lot of such general requests and simply ignore them or respond that you should apply and see what happens. If you approach a faculty member, you need to really have a clear goal in engaging him/her. For example, you can look up their research and ask specifically about it and say why you are interested in their group and how your research experience matches their area. If they are interested they will want to see your research and not so much the GRE scores as long as they meet the minimum for admission in their program.
