Where should I live if I decide to go to Auburn?

I read on the website that housing is first come first serve, can I apply for housing now? If so, where should I live? I believe the quad and the hill are for freshman, which one is the better one to live in? Sorry if these are stupid questions, i’m just confused!

Not stupid questions at all! The quad, hill, village, and new south donahue dorms are for freshman. The hill and quad are set up suite style with two 2 person rooms connected by a single bathroom in each suite. The village and south donahue each have 4 individual rooms joined by a common area per suite. The quad is in the most central location and is one of the cheaper ones. It would definitely be recommendation for freshman! There are also plenty of options off campus if for some reason housing were to fill up!

I would apply ASAP if you want campus housing – you may want to see if a waiting list has already been initiated …
You will have to pay your enrollment fee first (if you haven’t already). Then Auburn will send you a student ID number – you will need it to sign up for housing. They will want a deposit fee for housing, but it is refundable if you don’t get a bed. As the previous poster mentioned, there are a multitude of off-campus housing options available at all price points. Some of the complexes have a room-matching service, but you may be able to find a roommate via Auburn facebook page(s). Good luck and War Eagle.
