Where should i take pre calc over the summer (preferably online)?

I'm a sophomore in high school and i'm looking to take pre calc over the summer so i can get to bc senior year,

where do you guys think i should go to take my pre calc class? i've read couple discussions and it seems like EPGY is recommended, but i have no idea what it is or how to apply etc.

any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!!

Why couldn’t you take pre-calculus junior year and BC senior year?

my school will only let me go to BC if i take AB first,

also, my school has a horrible BC teacher so i’m looking to do BC next summer.
I really enjoy math and spending an entire year in precalc doesn’t seem challenging enough.

For a class like Pre-Calculus, or any class at all, I really don’t see why you would want to spend that much money to take it online. You should first talk to your guidance counselor to see if there’s a more local online school program where you wouldn’t have to spend money. For Instance, I would be able to use FLVS (Florida Virtual School) or SCVS (My county’s Virtual School) because of my area, and I would be able to take classes for free. Pre-Calculus isn’t too hard, so I don’t think it should be hard online. But goshers, that would be a lot of money for an online summer math class!

Pre-Calc is actually essential to AP Calc so I suggest that you take it over the year and then, take BC Calc over the summer.

I’m a junior and I’m taking Honors Pre-Calc this year and then skipping AB to go to BC Calc senior year. You should think about it. Good luck.

Ask if there’s a test option. + You could always self study the AB exam.
