Where should I transfer???

I just finished my second year at community college and applied to transfer for Fall 09. I want to go into medicine and probably become a pediatrician. Here are my options:

UCSD: I was just accepted here a few weeks ago as a Human Bio Major. Does anyone know anything about this major?? I looked at the classes and they seem really interesting. I also really like the area and the campus.

UCLA: I haven't been accepted yet but I want to be ready to make my decision when I hear from them. I applied as a psych major cause that was my original major so I had all the prereqs done. The UCLA rep told me they wouldn't even consider me for bio or any other major. Could I change my major to physiology when I got there?? Is physiology a good major for pre-med students?? If I can't change my major I will probably go to San Diego, but it will be really hard to turn down UCLA if I get in!

USC: I will find out in June if I am accepted (Health Promotion and Disease Prevention major). I also would like some more info on there program (is it a good choice for pre-med?). This has been my dream school, but it is really expensive.

I'm kinda stuck and don't know what I will decide, I think I have a pretty good shot at getting into UCLA or USC but I don't know if I am a LA person.

I'm not sure about changing majors at UCLA, you might want to call them up for confirmation that you cannot change if you are transferring as a jr.

As far as which college would be good for premed, all of them are great. Go the the Pre-Med Topics subforum and read the sticky thread at the top about how to pick an undergrad school. What it really comes down to is that the best school for premed will be the one where you fit in and will do well. If anything, USC will be questionable due to cost, you'd be illadvised to go into Med school with large amounts of loans from undergrad. ANY major is fine for premed, even non-science majors. You might want to post on the Pre-Med Topics forum as there are several current Med school students who could tell you the pros and cons of the various schools.
