where to apply/find scholarships

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew where to get started applying for scholarships.. any good websites?

If you’re a senior, you’re probably too late. Most major scholarship deadlines have long passed. Try to see what scholarships there are at your colleges. That’s where you’ll find the most. Ask your counselor, they probably have a list.

The best scholarships are from SCHOOLS.

Scholarships from websites are usually for SMALL amounts and only for freshman year. If you need money to pay for four years of college, then those little one year ones won’t do.

Have your parents run the NPCs at your schools? If not, have them do so.

LSU-full ride with 3.5 GPA and 2000 SAT
U of alabama(12/15 ASAP)-partial to full tuition with 3.5 GPA and 1280 SAT CR and Math or higher(1400 gives you full tuition)
Howard U- full ride with 3.8 UW GPA and math+CR 1500+
The best way to get money is to have good GPA, SAT/ACT and apply for schools with automatic merit scholarship.

And you retook SAT with 1700? What is breakdown?

How much do you need? Looks like you applied to a few Rutgers/Temple/GWU?

There are usual sites people use like Fastweb. But you should look locally for Rotary/Elks/Banks/parent’s employer. You can get small awards that help, perhaps.
