Major: International Relations
Looking for: Good IR/Political Science Program...preferably in/very close to a city

My friends is majoring in International Affairs at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It seems like it would be a good fit for you....
Here's a link to some info about the IA program. :)

^I actually just finished the American app. and had an interview @ GW, but I'm not sure if my SAT's are high enough to consider it a match...I think both schools' averages are a bit higher?

I would strongly recommend that you look at some smaller SAT optional schools. Although unfortunately not located in or particularly near a city, Mt. Holyoke is SAT optional, part of a great 5 school consortium and very strong in international relations. Also, I would take a look at Franklin and Marshall, Connecticut College and for a reach Bowdoin (fairly near Portland). I think that you would be a very attractive candidate for these schools.

A top I.R. school and another clear reach with a looming deadline, Tufts University. Also check out James Madison College, a college of public affairs and I.R. within Michigan State University: James Madison CollegeJames Madison College - Scholarships -

Tufts would be and I think the deadline is Jan. 1st. I think you would have a good chance at JMC but you are out-of-state. Admissions are rolling there I believe, so contact them A.S.A.P.
